“Møre Trafo has a forward-leaning growth strategy where the aftermarket will be strengthened, while also taking new steps in marketing and communication. I really wanted to be part of that effort,” she says.

Camilla Is Our New Marketing Manager at Møre

The newly created Marketing Manager role is one of several strategic moves to make the company even more proactive and strengthen its position as market leader.

Camilla holds a degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and lives in Ålesund with her husband and three grown children, the oldest of whom studies in Bergen. She has many years of experience from the power industry, first at Tafjord and later at Wattn, where she headed the business market.

Customer First

— Customer first is always the starting point. I bring that perspective into my role as Marketing Manager. I want to challenge, simplify, and communicate more clearly, and I look forward to working closely with the skilled Sales department at Møre Trafo, says Camilla.

What motivates her most is development and results.

— I’m passionate about digitalization and simplifying processes that create better customer experiences – for both our customers and our colleagues.

Strengthen the Brand

The role also includes responsibility for further developing the company’s profile and communication.

“We’re celebrating 75 years this year, and we’ll mark it with a rebrand, a new website, and a clear focus on more of what really matters to our customers.”

She also believes it is important to highlight the company’s strengths in a market where price and specifications often decide.

“The challenge is to highlight all the added value in Møre Trafo’s products, because there is so much of it. We have Norwegian production, sustainability in every step, a forward-leaning focus on service and the aftermarket, and not least we are the market leader on quality and competence. I have a fantastic starting point for strengthening the positioning of Møre Trafo going forward,” she says.

Marketing Must Boost Sales

Camilla is clear that marketing must contribute directly to growth.

“With a background as a business economist and head of several sales departments, this is absolutely central. Our marketing work must first and foremost be for the customers, create satisfied customers, which in turn brings in new customers and drives higher revenue.”

She also points to new opportunities for the company.

“We recently hired our first Head of Sales in Denmark, which is an exciting move. At the same time, we see strong demand in new segments like data centers and charging stations.”

Strategic Lift

The new roles of Camilla Blom as Marketing Manager and Pernille Hatlehol as Aftermarket Manager are part of a strategic lift at Møre Trafo.

“A lot is happening with our customers now. In-depth interviews in the industry give us clear signals on where we can improve,” says CEO Runar Tandstad.

He points to the need to be closer to the market and further develop the services in line with customer needs.

“Camilla will play a key role here. We will fill our communication concept ‘more of what matters’ with even more concrete content going forward,” says Tandstad.
