We process personal data with transparency, responsibility, and respect for your rights.

Møre Trafo AS takes privacy seriously. This statement explains which personal data we process, why we do it, how the data is used, and which rights you have as a data subject. The statement applies to customers, suppliers, partners, employees, and others who are in contact with us.

What is a privacy statement?

The privacy statement describes how a company collects, processes, and stores personal data. It must be easy to find and easy to understand, and it must make clear what we do with the information we receive.

Who is responsible?

Møre Trafo AS is the data controller for the personal data we collect and use. Management has the overall responsibility for privacy in the organization. A dedicated Data Protection Officer follows up routines and provides advice, while department managers ensure that practice in their own department complies with the current statement and regulations.

What data do we process?

We work continuously to keep track of which personal data we process, why we process it, how it is stored, and who has access. This ensures that the information in the privacy statement is always correct and up to date.

Your rights

As a registered individual, you have rights under data protection legislation (GDPR), including:

  • Right of access – you can ask to see what information we have about you
  • Right to rectification – you can ask to have incorrect information corrected
  • Right to erasure– in certain cases you can ask to have data deleted
  • Right to data portability – in some cases you can receive your data in a machine-readable format

We respond to privacy inquiries within the legal deadlines, and we have established procedures for handling such requests.

Updating the statement

We review and update the privacy statement at least once a year, or more often if there are changes in legislation, technology, services, or internal processes. If we make changes that affect how personal data is processed, we inform affected individuals in a clear and transparent way.

Training and Internal Control

All employees at Møre Trafo receive the training they need in good data protection practices. We carry out internal controls to ensure that our practices comply with current regulations, and we document assessments, risk assessments, and previous versions of the statement.
