“You can’t get around transformers. Transformers keep coming up in our curriculum. It’s incredibly exciting and educational to see the curriculum come to life with insight into processes and production,” says one of the students from Høgskolen Vestlandet, Førde campus, Lars Engø.
The graduating class in Electrical Power, Energy and Environment is relatively small. That meant everyone had much more time to get to know Møre Trafo, the production, and the products. And the students had more time to ask questions and dig deeper.
Theory in Practice
“Cool and well planned. There’s something special about seeing theory in practice, and we got good answers and a great insight,” says Lars.
The students from Førde stayed right across the street from Møre Trafo, at Aursnes Hotel. In the evening they had dinner and were served at the Bellami restaurant in Sykkylven together with Møre Trafo’s Olav Dalsbotten and Nils Johan Sylte.
“A great and curious group who asked many good questions,” says Olav Dalsbotten.
