Møre Trafo has set up a Spleis that all employees can contribute to. The idea behind FotballtrøyeFredag is to show support for children and young people with cancer, and to raise money for life-saving research. No child should die of cancer, because children have so much they should get to experience. But many children and young people cannot take part in their favorite activity because of serious illness.
“We’re all on the same team in the fight against childhood cancer, and childhood cancer and football are topics that engage Møre Trafo. It’s great to share a private interest with colleagues. It brings us closer together. When we can also combine this with contributing to such an important cause, it does something to us. There’s been both laughter, strong engagement, and seriousness in the discussions around the workplaces here at Møre Trafo and in the canteen,” says Tandstad.
