The Theme Days have run every spring and fall since 2013 (except the pandemic year 2020), and as usual kicked off with a social get-together and a cook-off at Atlanterhavsparken.

Full House at Popular Industry Day

“The team there is incredibly skilled, and a key reason why we keep running this popular concept year after year,” says Lisbeth Bråstad in Customer Service at Møre Trafo.

The next day, the participants toured production at Møre Trafo, where they were introduced to solutions for transformers and substations.

Tour

“The tour of the production is a golden opportunity for participants to dive deep into every production process and ask questions directly to operators and product owners,” says Ivar Lifjeld, Sales Manager at Møre Trafo.

The program also includes a mini-fair where the suppliers Ensto, Eaton, Univar and Schneider Electric show some of their products.

“A very good program. Seeing transformer production was the highlight. The mix of information and social time makes it easier to contact the supplier or manufacturer when something is unclear,” says Reidar Beinset from Elinett, who brought eight participants, all very positive about the technical day.

Attractive Arena

The Theme Days have become an important meeting place for sharing experience and professional input.

— The goal is to create dialogue with customers and keep developing our solutions. At the factory, participants can get hands-on with components and talk directly with our specialists, says Sales Manager Ivar Lifjeld.

Participants gain insight into the entire production process – from components to fully tested products. They also get a look into the production of doors, vents, and free-standing switchboards.
