“It’s impressive to see the investments Møre Trafo has made in production. I’ve visited several times myself, but most of those who joined this time had never seen how products we’ve worked with for years are actually made, and the professional work behind them,” says Glitre’s Runar Henricks, Head of Distribution Grid Projects East.
Glitre Nett owns and maintains the power grid in Agder, Buskerud and Hadeland and supplies 320,000 customers with power. Henricks says it was a perfect size for the visiting group:

“In smaller groups like this, you also dare to ask the stupid questions about products and production, and those are the questions you learn from,” says Henricks, who was also impressed by the city walk and by how Sindre Nakken conveyed interesting knowledge about Ålesund.

Ole-Christian Linstad, District Manager East Norway at Møre Trafo, was responsible for the factory visit and is proud to showcase the expertise and advanced production methods that Møre Trafo now uses. Visits like this build relationships and increase awareness that Møre Trafo, in addition to producing advanced transformers, is also a competence center in its field.
The team from Glitre landed at Vigra on Wednesday 12 February, and after a city walk and dinner they visited the factory on Thursday.
