– The idea behind the technical days is to exchange experience with our customers and users of our products. At the factory, participants can get hands-on with components and talk directly with specialists, says Sales and Marketing Manager Ivar Lifjeld at Møre Trafo.

Important Industry Day

Product Development

Customer feedback on Møre Trafos products is important so Møre Trafo can continuously develop and optimize its products for users and customers. Participants get insight into the entire process from the start of the product until it is fully tested in the test station. The same applies to substations, doors, and vents.

Important to bring customers here

“It’s very important to get customers here so they can learn a bit more about the company and the group. The production tour is the main focus on these days. Without exception, everyone has been surprised by how much we manufacture ourselves, and by how much of the work people actually do. I think many gain completely new insight into how extensive this is, and how many steps are involved, compared to what they thought,” says CEO Leif Leira.

Since 2013

Møre Trafo hosts two technical days a year, one in spring and one in autumn. The technical days have run every spring and autumn since 2013, except for the pandemic year 2020 – and always with positive feedback. Speakers at the latest technical day were Yngvar Andersen from Schneider Electric on gas-free switchgear, and Ulf Sørbø from Maxeta who covered connections and clamps for power distribution.

Atlanterhavsparken

The Theme Days have also become a great arena for building connections between the people and companies that contribute. And the regular event at Atlanterhavsparken is a perfect opportunity for participants to get to know each other even better and test their cooking skills.
