Sales and Product Development
Sales, engineering and product development are closely linked in this job. The request can be different from the offer and the final product, but we have the products, expertise and options to design it very close to what the customer asks for.
Tesla and Million-Scale Projects
I’ve had great flexibility and worked with customers and hugely exciting multi-million projects. It’s been a fantastic journey. One of the highlights is the collaboration with Tesla. A demanding customer, but we found good solutions and today they are a major customer. I’m proud of that.
Curious and Creative
According to Bjørn, a good sales engineer needs a strong commercial instinct and is motivated by matching customer needs with optimal technical solutions. Curiosity, creativity, and the ability to communicate are essential.
You need to enjoy getting challenging problems on your desk. At the same time, you must be able to sell the solutions to the customer, and like having a lot of customer contact. Customers and potential customers want to talk to someone who can give answers. That’s why competence is our key advantage.
Going On The Offensive
Scandinavia’s largest producer of distribution transformers and turnkey substations is a company in strong growth with a sharp customer focus. Now Møre Trafo is making an aggressive push in the aftermarket, with a dedicated market lead and on product development. The goal is to strengthen its position as market leader.
