Norway’s largest grid company is in its fourth round of deliveries from Møre Trafo. In 2017, it received around 400 transformers.

“We have a great collaboration and a very good customer relationship with Møre Trafo. For us, it’s a big advantage that they are based here in Norway. That means fast, good service to solve any issues. We’ve come to know Møre Trafo as a serious and highly professional player,” says Berntzen.
Not just anyone makes it onto the customer list at Møre Trafo. Hafslund Nett AS is not only Norway’s largest grid company, but also the fifth largest in the Nordics with 700,000 customers. Hafslund Nett owns and manages the regional grid in Oslo, Akershus and Østfold. The regional grid covers 41 municipalities with 1.55 million people.
“We have roughly 20,000 transformers in our distribution grid,” explains Jørn Berntzen.
Møre Trafo has always focused on the environment, and was among the first to use environmental oils in its transformers. Hafslund Nett liked that a lot.
Like Møre Trafo, Hafslund Nett has a strong focus on the environment and a clear goal of always being best in class. Berntzen also praises the expertise found in Møre Trafo and has previously stated that he considers Møre Trafo’s Product Manager, Kårstein Longva, to be the person in Norway with the best competence on transformers.
