June 24, 2026Møre Trafo has signed two framework agreements with Linea AS for the delivery of transformers and prefabricated substations. The agreements confirm Møre Trafo’s position as a key Norwegian supplier to the energy industry and will help further develop a reliable, resilient power grid in Helgeland.
Substations and Transformers for Linea in Helgeland
Linea is the grid company for Helgeland and is responsible for operating, maintaining, and developing the regional and distribution network in the area. The company is headquartered in Mosjøen and supplies more than 46,000 customers with a stable and secure power supply.
The framework agreements cover deliveries of transformers and prefabricated substations. The solutions will support Linea’s ongoing work to ensure security of supply in the power grid in Helgeland.
The agreements run for 2 years, with an option to extend for another 1+1 years, for a total duration of up to 4 years. Each agreement is estimated at NOK 8–10 million per year, for a combined annual value of up to NOK 20 million. The deliveries are produced at Møre Trafos factory in Sykkylven, where the company has concentrated its development, production and technical expertise.
