As usual, the technical day started with visits, socializing, and cooking at Atlanterhavsparken and the aquarium’s klippfisk academy. Here the group split into teams, and each team prepared two starters for the evening meal in true cook-off style.
Smash-Hit Industry Day – Packed to Capacity Yet Again
“The atmosphere was great and everyone was fully focused. The team at Atlanterhavsparken is incredibly skilled, and they are one of the reasons we keep running this popular concept year after year,” says Lisbeth Bråstad in Customer Service at Møre Trafo.
New twist
This year we did a small twist to the following day and the visit to Møre Trafo. The participants were split into three groups, and we put more emphasis on the tour. They were shown current solutions for transformers and substations. The production tour is a golden opportunity for participants to dive deep into every production process and ask questions directly to operators and product owners.
Part of the new twist was also a “mini-fair” as a natural stop on the tour. Here, Ulf Sørbø from Maxeta, and Yngvar Andersen and Martin Andresen from Schneider Electric, showcased and demonstrated their products.
Attractive Arena
The program and technical days at Møre Trafo have become an attractive arena and meeting place where people in the industry meet, get to know each other, and exchange experience. The technical days are very important for both Møre Trafo and you as a customer, and have been held every year, spring and autumn, since 2013, except for the pandemic year 2020.
Important
“The idea behind the technical days is to exchange experience with our customers and users of our products. At the factory, participants can see and touch the components and talk directly with our specialists,” says Sales and Marketing Manager at Møre Trafo, Ivar Lifjeld.
Feedback
Customer feedback on Møre Trafo products is important so the company can constantly develop and optimize its solutions for users and customers. Participants get insight into the entire process from the start of the product until it is fully tested and inspected. They also get insight into the production of doors and vents, substations and free-standing switchgear.
