The newly retired colleague is described as a dutiful stand‑up guy and a wizard after more than 31 years at the cornerstone company in Sykkylven.
“He has worked in the substation department the whole time, first as an installer, then as production manager, but longest as technical case officer and master planner. Conscientious and committed, he has solved demanding tasks in an excellent way. Some have even called him a mind reader and a magician when he has been handed incomplete tasks,” said Møre Trafos administrerende direktør Tor Rieve Kristiansen in his speech to the new retiree.
Hard to Replace
Sigurd has also been a key person for the Sales team as lead planner and technical resource. He has been an important man who will be greatly missed at Møre Trafo.
“His knowledge, will to find solutions, and work capacity are hard to replace. He always finds solutions and is easy to ask. But fortunately we have good successors,” said Rieve Kristiansen, who thanked Sigurd for helping develop the substation department into a profitable department with a good working environment.
