Satisfied customers
“Positivity, drive and close customer follow-up. I think those three words sum up what I stand for as a salesperson. It’s about finding good solutions for the customer, and together with the customer. Satisfied customers make the workday much easier, and are the best marketing you can have,” says Arnstein.
Shared Customers
He has worked for 11 years at Berggård Amundsen & Co AS, an independent, Norwegian family-owned electrical wholesaler established in 1946. Many of his customers from Berggård Amundsen are also customers of Møre Trafo. These are customers Arnstein knows well and will therefore have very strong relationships with in his new job as well.
Strong Brand
— Arnstein is skilled, and he knows sales. He fulfills his obligations to customers and is well liked by them. We knew him from various industry events and contacted him about a possible job with us, says a pleased Sales and Marketing Manager at Møre Trafo, Ivar Lifjeld.
Arnstein said yes because he sees Møre Trafo as a strong and solid brand, and it gives him a golden opportunity to promote high-quality Norwegian production. He is impressed by the competence and knowledge in the Sykkylven company.

Win new customers
— For me, it’s now about getting to know and gaining insight into Møre Trafo’s product portfolio. Continuing the good work Nils Johan has done, looking after the assigned customer portfolio and, over time, bringing in new customers. I want to build customer relationships through good cooperation and invite customers to the professional days that Møre Trafo organizes. They are well established and give customers important insight into our production, and show that we think long term in everything we do, says Arnstein.
Singer and Soloist
Møre Trafo’s new District Manager is not just a skilled salesperson, but also a talented singer with Hellbillies as his favorite band. For several years he has been a member and soloist in Øvre Kvam Mannskor.
“Yes, I really love music. I’ve scaled back my activity in the choir now, and my youngest, Sivert, has taken over that baton. My last official solo was actually at the funeral of Snåsamannen, which was shown on both NRK and VG TV,” says Arnstein, who was hired by the Gjerstad family as the only external soloist.
Strong on Home Ground
This summer he celebrated his 50th in style, surrounded by many good friends who wanted to congratulate the positive, life-loving Trønder on reaching half a century. Arnstein is married to Monica Linmo Vesterdal, and the couple have two sons – Sander (23) and Sivert (19), who both work as agricultural mechanics for the tractor brand Valtra.
“If things work well and you’re doing fine at home, that carries over to the job,” says Møre Trafo’s new District Manager for Mid-Norway.
