The first day of the Fagdag started as usual with visits, guided tours, socializing, and cooking at Atlanterhavsparken and in the aquarium’s klippfisk academy.

– One of the best things I’ve ever been part of!

— Full focus and great energy during the cooking contest. The team at Atlanterhavsparken is incredibly skilled, says Lisbeth Bråstad in Customer Service at Møre Trafo about the professional day held on September 16 and 17.

Live presentation

The following day, you gathered at Møre Trafos facilities for a live presentation of production and products from Scandinavia’s largest manufacturer of distribution transformers and substations. We present current solutions for transformers and substations, with a tour of the production where you can dive into every production process and ask questions directly to operators and product managers.

Mini Expo

This year, like last year, there was also a mini-fair at the technical day where some of Møre Trafos suppliers presented and demonstrated some of their products. This year the exhibitors were Procab with Bård Ivan Dyrendahl, Eaton with Johanne Aunemo and Marius Sletvold, and Schneider Electric with Ako Dana and Martin Lunde Andresen.

Best I’ve ever been part of

— I’ve now been in the utility industry for 40 years, and this is one of the best things I’ve been part of! A very good program, both at Atlanterhavsparken and at Møre Trafo. We were well taken care of all the way, it’s always nice when you feel welcome and that everything is well planned. Interesting to see what Møre Trafo achieves in Sykkylven. Very good, is the enthusiastic summary of the technical day from Trond Valstad Eide, quality inspector at Elvia.

Great feedback

This time as well, Lisbeth at Møre Trafo reports many very positive responses from the participants.

“Very educational and useful. I’m not a specialist, but I got a great introduction to all sides of Møre Trafo’s production. The social side was absolutely top-notch,” says Atle Berg, Category Manager at Bane NOR.

“I’m impressed by how good Møre Trafo are at building their brand. The social side was absolutely great. If there’s anything a nerd like me might have wanted more of, it’s even more technical content,” says Senior Engineer Project Management in the District Division at Elvia, Turid Anita Øverås.

Attractive Arena

The program and technical days at Møre Trafo are now firmly established as an attractive arena and meeting place. The technical days are very important for both Møre Trafo and you as a customer, and have been held every year, spring and autumn, since 2013, with the exception of the pandemic year 2020.

Important knowledge sharing

— The idea behind the technical days is to exchange experience with our customers and users of our products. At the factory, participants can see and handle components and talk directly with our specialists, says Sales and Marketing Manager at Møre Trafo, Ivar Lifjeld.

Feedback

Customer feedback on Møre Trafo products is important so the company can constantly develop and optimize its solutions for you as user and customer. Participants get insight into the entire process from the start of the product until it is fully tested and inspected. They also get insight into the production of doors and vents, substations and free-standing switchgear.
