The production company in Sykkylven is firing on all cylinders, and the previous turnover record was set in March this year at NOK 89 million.

New Sales Record for Møre Trafo – Again

Runar Tandstad, CEO at Møre Trafo.

Everything has passed last year’s level

“By the end of September, total revenue was NOK 591 million, which means we have already passed the full-year revenue for 2022 of NOK 573 million,” says CEO of Møre Trafo, Runar Tandstad.

Efficient

During the autumn, Møre Trafo has streamlined operations and commissioned several new machines. Together with skilled employees, this has made it possible to increase production significantly. Order intake in September was NOK 52 million. This has reduced the order backlog to NOK 311 million.

“Lead times are still long, but the delivery situation is now far better for our customers than it was last year,” says Tandstad.

World’s longest

There is strong demand for Møre Trafo products, and Møre Trafo plays a major role in the green transition with electrification on land and at sea. They recently completed a large and demanding delivery to what will be the world’s longest electrified ferry route, the 22 km Lødingen–Bognes crossing in Ofoten.

Further Growth

“We keep full pressure on our plans for new buildings for production of both transformers and substations. We still believe in further growth,” says a satisfied CEO at Møre Trafo.
