This is about deliveries to grid companies that cover most of Western Norway, from Haugesund to Vestnes.
Major Contract for Møre Trafo
Strengthening Our Position
“The agreement is signed with the purchasing alliance Kjøpekraft Vest, which represents seven companies. We are very pleased to have won this contract. The agreement further strengthens our position in the Norwegian market,” says Jarle Nødset, District Manager West at Møre Trafo.
Over 700,000 grid customers
The companies in the Kjøpekraft Vest purchasing alliance are BKK AS, Fagne AS, Breheim Nett AS, Linja AS, Sygnir AS, Straumnett AS and Nordvest Nett AS. Together they have well over 700,000 grid customers. BKK alone supplies power to 270,000 customers and is one of Norway’s largest grid companies. The framework agreement covers delivery of substations, switchgear and low-voltage switchboards. The agreement runs for two years with an option for a further two years.
Maximum Value
Møre Trafo, Scandinavia’s largest manufacturer of transformers and substations, signed the agreement at the end of August. The maximum contract value for the full framework agreement period, including options, is NOK 400 million.
Kickoff for the framework agreement
Jarle Nødset is now fully underway training customers, both on the product and on how to use the Customer Portal, Møre Trafos industry-leading ordering tool, and handling the orders that keep coming in.
