Brilliantly Satisfied

“It’s just so incredibly good. I’m so happy,” says the friendly and cheerful 27-year-old, who on Tuesday took and passed the automation trade test after a year and a half as an apprentice.
He came to Norway from Syria eight years ago, and has lived in Sykkylven with his mother for three and a half years.
“My dream was to get a job right here at Møre Trafo. The working environment and the people here are fantastic, and I really enjoy both the workplace and the job,” says the 27-year-old.
Three years ago, he had a work placement at Møre Trafo as a student at Sykkylven Upper Secondary School, where he studied electrical engineering the first year and then two years of automation.
“That week left me wanting more, and I got a very positive impression of Møre Trafo,” says Noureddin Arrat.
The maintenance department at Møre Trafo will be Noureddin’s workplace, where he will work with maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming, among other things.
“Noureddin is a very pleasant and skilled guy, and someone who solves most things. He works independently and is genuinely interested in his field,” says operations engineer Christian Hellebostad, who is responsible for automation at Møre Trafo.
